Cheraw is a pre-Revolutionary town, with a 213 acre National Register Historic District and a wonderful state park. Farther out, new neighborhoods are being built to the west and south and small horse farms take advantage of the equestrian trails in the area. The climate is pleasant with distinct seasonal changes and mild winters.
