The Town of Cheraw will be accepting applications for the position of a fulltime Planning and Community Development Director. This was previously a part time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the Town of Cheraw to include planning, zoning, community development, and economic development programs. Administers all phases of a comprehensive community development program, including development of land use planning policies and regulations, issuance of development permits, and provide expert professional assistance to Town departments.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting salary of $46,618.
