Cheraw to Participate in the Great American Clean Up

This year the Town of Cheraw was awarded 50 trees and $4,000 to fight litter from Palmetto Pride, a statewide anti-litter organization.  To show our support for Palmetto Pride and to work towards a cleaner community; the Town will be organizing The Great American Cleanup in Cheraw.  Participating is easy and a great way to build community pride.

This year’s event will take place from April 19th to May  31st.

If you or a group you know of would like to participate  all you need to do is:

  1. Form a group or team
  2. Pick a street or place in Town
  3. Fill out the form that can be found by clicking here.
  4. Supplies will be delivered to you before your pickup date.
  5. Tackle your project with your team, be sure to take pictures, and leave the trash bags on the side of the road to be picked up.

If you have any questions you may contact Rob Wolfe at 843-537-7283 or through email at rwolfe@cheraw.com

A big thanks to Palmetto Pride for making this event possible through grants and donations of supplies!
