On March 13, 2020 to help stem the spread of COVID-19 (the Coronavirus) the South Carolina Dixie Youth League Office has delayed the start of the season until at least April 4th, asking leagues to suspend all activities that involve the gathering of individuals for games and practices until after April 4, 2020.
To follow Dixie Youth Baseball's guidelines, our season will be delayed until after April 4, 2020. Accordingly, Opening Day will no longer be held on March 28, 2020. We will continue to evaluate the situation should we receive any new information.
Please note that this does not mean the season is cancelled, only that it is delayed!
