Cheraw Fall Sports Registration
Registration for all Fall Sports will begin on Monday, August 1st and will continue through Friday, August 26th . Registration hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Cheraw Community Center. All youth athletic participants are required to purchase department accident insurance for $5.00, good for all sports and programs (September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017). ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING A BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PROOF OF RESIDENCE TO REGISTER.
FOOTBALL
- Flag Football 6 and 7 years old, but not 8 before September 1, 2016.
- Small Fry 8 - 10 years old, but not 11 before September 1, 2016.
- Mite 11 and 12 years old, but not 13 before September 1, 2016.
- Fees: $25.00 for city residents and $50.00 for out-of-city residents; $5.00 – insurance.
- Note: Registration may have to be limited; early registration is encouraged.
SOCCER
- Instructional 5 and 6 years old, but not 7 before September 1, 2016
- Primary 7 and 8 years old, but not 9 before September 1, 2016
- Pee Wee 9 and 10 years old, but not 11 before September 1, 2016
- Mite 11 and 12 years old, but not 13 before September 1, 2016
- Midget 13 – 17 years old, but not 18 before September 1, 2016
- Fees: $25.00 for city residents and $50.00 for out-of-city residents; $5.00 – insurance.
- Note: If registration is insufficient for separate leagues, age groups will be combined to form mixed leagues.
CHEERLEADING
- Flag Football 5 – 7 years old, but not 8 before September 1, 2016
- Small Fry 8-10 years old, but not 11 before September 1, 2016
- Mite 11-12 years old, but not 13 before September 1, 2016
