Cheraw Town Hall

Cheraw Town HallOnce an opera house, the only music you'll hear today at Cheraw Town Hall is the humming of computers, created by the town's administrative staff. If you had been standing on this spot the morning of March 3, 1865, you would have found yourself in the midst of a skirmish. On that date, Sherman's Union Cavalry pursued Hardee's Rear Guard through town with the skirmish continuing on down to the Great Pee Dee River.
