Storm Drainage StudyThe Town has hired the engineering firm of Davis and Floyd to conduct a  storm drainage study that will determine the location of storm water and drainage issues within the Town limits.  Using the collected data the Town will apply for funding to alleviate problems caused by flooding and inadequate drainage.

Davis and Floyd has prepared a webpage covering the development of the Master Plan, it also includes a form where residents may report issues with storm drainage here in Town.

To facilitate data collection, the Town will
hold a public meeting on Tuesday, July 14th from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Cheraw Community Center.  The Town of Cheraw has been awarded a grant to conduct a town wide storm drainage study and as part of that process is asking citizens to provide comments on areas that flood or create drainage issues during storm events.

Due to COVID-19 the Town is practicing social distancing and prefer citizens wanting to attend the public meeting first call and make an appointment.  You may call the Town Hall at 843-537-8400 and speak to Evelyn Mack to schedule a time to meet with the engineering firm on July 14th.

For those citizens not comfortable attending the public meeting you fill out the questionnaire above.  Also comments or concerns/pictures can be emailed to Mike Smith, Town of Cheraw Administrator, at
