Town Green:
Inglis-McIver Office (c. 1820)

A small white frame Greek Revival structure moved here from Front Street in 1948. John A. Inglis was chairman of the committee that drew up the SC Ordinance of Secession. This building was one of the few survivors of the explosion on Front St. during the Confederate War. It served as the law office for Inglis, Alexander Mclver and later, Henry Mclver.
