Cheraw Town Council to hold Public Hearing for the Upcoming Fiscal Year Budget

Cheraw’s Town Council and Town staff recently completed a draft budget for the upcoming Fiscal Year that runs from July 1, 2024 to June 30^th, 2025.  The budget for the upcoming year grew 3.4% from the previous year’s budget for a total projected budget of $16,213,094.    The Town Council of Cheraw will have a public hearing on the proposed budget at the May 14^th Town Council meeting at 5:30PM in the Cheraw Town Hall.

The Town of Cheraw will also have a public hearing on proposed water and sewer rate increases during the same meeting.
